Piggly Wiggly charges fees based on the services being offered, as follows:

Delivery fee

Piggly Wiggly delivery powered by Door Dash is $3.99 for same-day orders $35 or more. Fees for under $35 are $9.99. The delivery fee will be clearly indicated at checkout.

Service fee

The service fee helps support the Piggly Wiggly online shopping platform and experience and covers a broad range of operating costs including customer support, online shopping operational costs, and the like. The service fee isn’t a tip and doesn’t go to any personal shopper or driver.

Service fees vary depending on the size of your order and whether your order is for curbside pickup or delivery.  For pickup, orders less than $35 have a $4.99 service fee; orders $35 to $124.99 have a $1.99 service fee; and orders over $125.00 have no service fee.  For all delivery orders, there is a 7% service fee.  You can view the service fee total on every order at checkout.

Changes to your order, including replacing or refunding an item, will change the service fees.

Taxes

Like any other service or product, taxes are included in the order total on your receipt. The tax you pay on products purchased are calculated the same way as in a physical store. Depending on your location, the delivery or service fee that you pay in exchange for its service may also be subject to tax. The sales tax will be applied to some or all of the items in your order in accordance with local laws depending on the address of the store or your delivery address.
